Nicolas Pain New Release

Nicolas Pain is a self-taught sculptor having initially studied Graphic Design.

His work is now regularly exhibited with the Society of Wildlife artists’ annual exhibition as well as the David Shepherd annual exhibition both at the Pall Mall Galleries, London.

His Bronze sculptures are crafted and inspired directly from Marine Wildlife that he encounters whilst Diving.  He is a keen diver who is qualified to BSAC advanced and IANTD advanced nitrox levels.

Nick is based in Warwick but enjoys diving all over the UK and abroad with his partner Rose. Their favorite diving destinations are sites around Lamorna Cove in Cornwall and the St. Abbs marine reserve in Berwickshire.

Through selling his work it has enabled him and partner Rose to buy a small RIB which has extended his diving range and are now both exploring the Reef structures in North Wales and St Patrick’s Causeway in search of some new subjects as well as travelling abroad to encounter some more exotic species.
