Bob Crooks has been exhibited in Public and Commercial collections both here and abroad. The Victoria and Albert Museum, Craft Council Collection, the London and the Sainsbury Collection as well as noted exhibitions in China, Italy, Scandinavia the USA and Australia.
Every piece is handmade and finished by Bob. He does not use any moulds in the production which means that each one is totally unique.

Inspired by nature, geometry and architecture, he plays with the different and amazing qualities that glass itself has to offer using reflection and refraction. Some of his pieces, such as the perfume bottle range, use opacity to contrast with the clear polished finish of glass. He uses different techniques to create different contrasting textures within the same piece.
The handmade perfume bottles are also reminiscent of the glorious Venetian glass makers from the famous glass studios on the island of Murano.

He produces a vast array of different bowls and vases as well as filigree mirrors. The new work is also becoming larger in scale. Huge one off vases, which are full of intricate detail and stunning vibrant colours are incredibly hard to blow due to the immense weight and size. Technically very difficult but always beautiful.
